Issen Video Editor
Privacy Policy
Effective: 2026-11-07
The operator of Issen Video Editor (“the tool”), でぃーご (“the operator”), handles information about users of the tool as follows.
1. Videos, audio and images you choose
The video, audio, image, subtitle and font files you open in the tool, and your edits, are processed only inside your browser. They are never sent to the operator’s server or to any other company. Exported files are saved on your device.
2. What is stored on your device
To make the tool easier to use, the following is stored in your browser’s storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to the operator.
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Browser database (IndexedDB) | Autosave of your current edit (so you can restore it after a tab closes; it does not contain the media files themselves), and the locations of media files you opened (Chrome, Edge and others; to reconnect them next time without choosing again) |
| Browser file storage (OPFS) | Files converted from older formats, recorded narration, screen and camera recordings, fonts you added, and files being exported (Firefox and others) |
| Browser settings storage (localStorage) | Settings (language, light or dark display, Simple or Advanced mode, timeline view, silence detection, export settings, caption styles, and notices you closed) |
How to delete: Clear this site’s “Cookies and site data” in your browser settings to delete all of it. Recorded narration and recordings can also be deleted with “Delete all unused recordings” in “Manage saved recordings…” (right-click an audio track; “Saved recordings…” in the recording panel opens the same list).
The tool itself does not use cookies.
3. Advertising and sending information to third parties
The tool takes part in the Amazon Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, でぃーご earns from qualifying purchases. The tool shows text links to search results on Amazon.co.jp, marked “Sponsored”.
The links are text only; no Amazon images, widgets or scripts are loaded. So just opening the pages does not make your browser send information to Amazon or any other third parties (published under the external transmission rules of Japan’s Telecommunications Business Act). The videos, audio and images you choose, and your edits, are never sent either.
When you click a link, you go to Amazon.co.jp (operated by Amazon Japan G.K.). Amazon then records that you came from a link on this site (the referral), using the Associate ID in the link and Amazon’s cookies and similar technologies. Nothing is sent unless you click a link. How your information is handled there is governed by the Amazon.co.jp Privacy Notice.
Before we show any other ads, we will first revise this policy and list here the recipients, the information sent, and the purposes.
4. Analytics
This site does not use any analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
5. Access logs
Like any web server, this site’s server (Apache) keeps access logs: IP address, date and time, the URL opened, the referrer, the browser type (User-Agent), and the response status and size. They are used only to run the server and to deal with abuse, and are deleted after 14 days. They are not given to third parties except as required by law.

For questions about this policy, please contact @_sdsdg on X (Twitter).
7. Changes
This policy may be changed when needed. Changes will be announced on this page with the revision date.
